Today I am adding photos of a little brag book I made. I was pleased with the way it came out as it looked nice and cheery. I got the idea from Lori on her you tube channel klipngirl , she does some amazing inserts for mini albums but you can also use them to make just a single small pocket album as I have.

Have a go you can get quite a lot of photos in here and its handy for your handbag.

This album is one I made for some friends that were having their 1st baby. I thought that rather than making an album about the baby's first months I would do something different and do one for the pregnancy.  I tiled it Lisa and martins Bump... the story starts here.

The second photo shows a page for nursery ideas with a pocket for info and tags for journaling. The next shows a pocket with a tag which lifts up for a photo.
Then there is a pocket with tags for top 10 girls and boys name choices. The bear holding the sign has a 4 week span eg 16- 20 weeks, I then left that page for info and photos of that ever growing bump. Each 4 weeks were also covered.

Next is a criss cross tag pocket insert with tags and a stamped image which says life is full of new beginings. On the reverse of that page I put a special pocket to hold their scan pictures and later on in the album a pocket page for appointment cards etc. Also included where pages where they could record each persons thoughts and ones from friends and family.

The next page you can see is a gate fold which holds a 6x4 picture and on the outside are mini tags saying hello baby.

Lastly shown is a when and where page so they could fill in the date and time hospital etc., on the back of the insert tag a place to record memories of the birth day.

The stamps I used were penny black bears and I just bound it with my Bind it all and added some ribbons to the wires.

Everyone loved the idea of recording the pregnancy, something that you don't normally do and I'm sure that the baby (which was a little girl) will love to look at it when she is older.

Been ordering some papers in the sales at The Srapbook Garden and from Craft Obsessions.  Since designer papers are so expensive these days I try to get some when they are reduced.  All those pennies saved, just think....maybe more crafting goodies!!  Sounds good to me!

Another video link for  a mini album that I have put on you tube, another present for a friend of mine.  I Thought that this would be a good album for old sepia or black and white family photos.  Check it out . I will do a Tutorial soon on the envelope pages,  it is such an easy album to put together with lots of large pages which you can put big photos on or a mixture of sizes.

There are so many albums I want to do in the new year.  One for some photos of my dad, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago, but of course the pictures we have are now very precious and I have got some graphic 45 papers to do an album with those.  Will post that when I have finished.  Hannah my daughter has put in requests for many albums!!!  Oh the joys of being a mum!!

Though I'd put another album up for you to see. This one was yet another christmas present for a friend.  I loved the colours  and designs of the papers, it always seems to be easier when you really love the products. I knew that my friend loves hearts so included  quite a few on the pages.  Heres a link to my You tube Channel of the album and some photos also.  Hope you like it.  Don,t forget to keep an eye out for some tutorials, as soon as I get some spare time... I have been putting some videos on my you tube channel so I can share some crafting I have been doing lately. This is a mini made as a special order for a young lady who loves her Promarkers. I included  colour charts, tutorials from the net and made lots of pockets and files for her to put notes and in as she collected interesting bits and bobs.  I also made a pocket sized note book and a mini colour chart which were removable so she could tke them out when buying new pens and would always know which colours she had in her collection. 

I also made a small one for myself and one for a friend which have been very useful.  Maybe I will post a video on you tube of mine,  but its not so exicting as this one!!!
