Basic paperbag mini album

Hi everyone,

Todays post is for my latest mini album tutorial which is a basic paperbag construction using binding rings on the cover.  This makes it quiet an easy album cover to make and it saves time making binding strips!  Anything that saves time in my book is great, there's always a million and one things to do!!

This is the second project for my guest designer time with Ephemera's Vintage Garden.  The collection I am showcasing is the Chic Boudoir.
Here are the links

website http://www.ephemerasvintagegarden.com/journals.html

So here it is...

On the cover I did a lot of cutting and upraising the papers from the collection and on some I have used glossy accents to highlight, that particular page is my favorite so I just had to use it!! The papers I used to cover the boards for the covers are by prima. Flowers and seam binding are from wild orchid crafts and ribbon girl.

Vintage birthday record book

Hi there,

Today I have put up a tutorial on my you tube channel for a gorgeous vintage birthday record book.  You can make it as a simple little mini album if you wish though ,it is really easy to make and takes a minimum of time to create but looks stunning. .  Great for a christmas or birthday gift.
I've made mine just for myself....how lucky am I!!!!??  Makes a change to do things for myself! now I can record the dates and names on the inside pages for each month and use the tags to write down any gifts I buy through the year so I don't duplicate presents...when the tags are full I can just make some new ones.

Pop up card

Hi everyone,

Here is another of the Large pop up cards using a Crafty Individual stamp and their shades of summer background paper pad.  I also used one of the crafty Individual masks on the front with some acrylic paint.  The chip board embellishments are from K & Company - amy butler chipboard pieces.

The tutorial for the construction of this pop up can be found on my you tube channel here.
I also have a tutorial for a smaller version which goes in a C5 envelope here

Leave me a comment on what you think, I love to have your feedback.

4th August 2012,

Hi everyone,

I have just finished a vintage album using Crafty Individuals stamps and papers.  Some of my favourite stamps are included in this one.  Hope you like it and will have a go yourself following my instructions.  I have done the instructions with begginers in mind so you can see how I go about decorating the album to some extent.  Of course it also shows the construction of the pages for those who are more advanced.

So if you have never made a mini album before now's your chance, here's the video showing the finished mini and then you can follow the videos one by one on my  you tube channel until you have completed the project.

Hi crafty people,

Here is the first project I've made with the crafty indiviuals bits that Jean and Malcom kindly sent me. I though the people and places pad full of images just lent itself to the mini in a box....so here it is.

Another video link for  a mini album that I have put on you tube, another present for a friend of mine.  I Thought that this would be a good album for old sepia or black and white family photos.  Check it out . I will do a Tutorial soon on the envelope pages,  it is such an easy album to put together with lots of large pages which you can put big photos on or a mixture of sizes.

There are so many albums I want to do in the new year.  One for some photos of my dad, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago, but of course the pictures we have are now very precious and I have got some graphic 45 papers to do an album with those.  Will post that when I have finished.  Hannah my daughter has put in requests for many albums!!!  Oh the joys of being a mum!!
