Stand up card

Hi again,

Here are some photos of the card which I have done as a you tube video tutorial.  It is a card which has a built in stand so will look really great when your friends and family display it at christmas.

I used some Visible Image stamps to decorate it and Kay and co paper, seam binding for the bow is from ribbon girl.  The die cut for the foliage and holly sprigs is a Tim holtz alterations die called festive greenery. I also stamped the Vintage image trio's script on some plain paper and matted on the back of the card (which is on the base as it stands in the picture).
The stamps are available on the Visible Image web site.......
Vintage image trio and the vintage santa

And here are the photos of the finished card...

Hi everyone,

So whats on my work desk today is not strictly work....well it is work that has already been done.
It's also a chance for those who are interested to

win the mini album and embellishments shown below.

As I have just passed 500 subbies on my you tube channel I thought it would be great to give away the little album I just made as a tutorial.  Have a look at it here.
It is a blank album for you to decorate as you want...add photos and journalling to it to make your own unique version.  As you can see on my work desk photo I am including some embellishments so you can create till your hearts content.

The rules for the competition are .... become a member of my blog and leave a comment on this post....Just think you then get updates and info on all my tutorials and blog posts.  You have until 30th October 2013 to enter.

So good luck to anyone who would like to join and I will now be off to Julia's site to have a look at the current work you've all been busy with this week.

Prima Romance Novel Mini album...just me me!

Woo Hooo,

Well have finally finished my Mother and daughter album at long last.  I am really pleased with the way it has come out and showcasing the gorgeous Prima romance novel papers has made it very special.  What a brilliant line this is lots to cut out for journalling and pockets, tags and tabs and a wonderful mixture of soft romantic roses and rustic bikes and typewriters, but it works sooo well  together. I bought the case at TK Max as it goes so well with the papers, so the album will be well protected inside.

So here a some photos and a link to the you tube video which shows it fully if you are interested. Link here

Spooktacular mini album

Hi there,

I was chatting to my daughter the other night and she thought I ought to post some photos of her Spooky party coffin mini album as it will soon be Hallowen.

I got a PDF pattern from Laura Denison's web site after seeing her you stream video on how to make this fab mini.

I was Ideal as Hannah' party was a fancy dress...theme SPOOKY.
As I have never posted it before....here it is......

Have a look at the album on my YOU TUBE VIDEO.

Crafty Individuals drop front storage box

Hi all you crafters,

I have posted some pictures of the finished storage box that houses the crafty Individual stamps.

There is a you tube tutorial on my channel here if you would like to make one for your own stamps.

Decoration wise I have used two of the Crafty Individual stamps... CI 338 and CI IRS 148. The flowers from wild orchid crafts and Hobby Craft and the papers are Crafty Individuals background papers 'book 7' (shades of summer)...they are very pretty papers.

Pop up card

Hi everyone,

Here is another of the Large pop up cards using a Crafty Individual stamp and their shades of summer background paper pad.  I also used one of the crafty Individual masks on the front with some acrylic paint.  The chip board embellishments are from K & Company - amy butler chipboard pieces.

The tutorial for the construction of this pop up can be found on my you tube channel here.
I also have a tutorial for a smaller version which goes in a C5 envelope here

Leave me a comment on what you think, I love to have your feedback.

Quick pop up card with Visible Image stamps

Hi
Happy Valentines day to you all.
As we speak my partner is cooking me a M&S Meal deal...3 courses, chocs and bubbly...I think this is the only time he has ever cooked me dinner...(in 23 years!)..sorry maybe (giving him the benefit of the doubt, the second time!!!!)  The last, as I remember was sausage and beans (out of a tin) on toast, when I was really ill once!!!

Well on to the crafting....
Here is the finished pop up card, as promised on my you tube channel this video is for the larger version which will fit into a standard C5 envelope, there is also a small version  that fits a C6 standard envelope.... check out that video too.

I used the Larger version for this card using the Visible Image stamps Emma and Bradley and their script set 10 for the wedding day, also the verse Fairytale endings
I have put some material layers for the dress and a top layer of vellum with some added sequins.  I've also put some net for her veil and pearls as a necklace with gems for the tiara. The characters are coloured using promarkers.
I used the Tim Holtz baroque die on the front (cut down) and the Lin & Lene design embossing plate as a stencil with some distress inks to create the rose design (goes so well with the new rose stamps from Visible Image).  The die in the top corner is from Joycrafts..one of their corner dies.

Hope you like it and will  have a go at one of these pop ups as they are so easy to do.
