Hannah cooking her christmas dinner with my mum giving a helping hand
Hi everyone.

I have been meaning to start up a blog for so long and now have finally got around to doing it!  Can't wait to start sharing my crafting with you all.

We have just had the most wonderful christmas staying in an old 16th century pub in Winchester.  It was so lovely and had loads of old world charm.  So, so interesting!  Couldn't resist taking lots of photos of course.

Wincester had such a christmasy feel, the lights, the beautiful old buildings and a huge variety of christmas wreaths on gorgeous painted doors.  I have posted a few photos for you to see how lovely it looked.
Winchester looking very festive

We spent most of Christmas day with my daughter and her boyfriend (she did a remarkable job of her first christmas dinner I was very impressed, and she cooked sprouts!!)

Its great to see them settled in their new flat, together they have made it so cosy and homely.

On Boxing day we had a lovely cooked breakfast, but only after Nigel had enjoyed a soak in the slipper bath we had in our room, a super relaxing thing to be doing on boxing day morning, can't think of anything better!

Mum had stayed in the Pub too so mid morning we all went for a walk and took some photos of the old part of the town.  At lunch time we went back to the pub to collect our bags but the atmosphere was so good, it was packed with people having a lunch time tipple so we thought it rude not to indulge in a glass of mulled wine!

Then off to Hannah and Matthews for lunch and a mince pie.

What a great Christmas.  Hope yours was just as good.
